A fire that broke out in May at a public works facility in Morrison County caused extensive damage to both equipment and the building itself.

On Tuesday, County Engineer Tony Hennen briefed the Board of Commissioners on what has happened since the fire, which occurred between the end of work on May 11 and the following morning. When employees arrived for work on May 12, they found smoke and smoke inside the building, prompting them to call the Little Falls Fire Department.
