Odisha Government Notifies Establishment of 2000 LTRMO Positions in H&FW Department

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government Department of Health and Family Welfare issued a new notification on Saturday November 19 for the creation of 2000 LTRMO (Leave Training Reserve Physician) positions.

As per the notification from H&FW department, the creation of 2000 LTRMO positions at the rank of Group A (Junior Branch) will be under Odisha Medical and Health Services.

HTO Govt Commissioner-Secretary, Shalini Pandit, in a letter to the Principal Accountant General (A&E) said, “I am instructed to convey the Governor’s sanction for the creation of 2000 (two thousand) LTRMO positions at group rank- Executive A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical and Health Services (OMHS) in ORSP Rules Pay Matrix Tier 12 Pay Scale 2017 for State Peripheral Health Services according to the list below to provide adequate health service to the people of the State”.

According to the Department of Health, a total of 1,500 LTRMOs will be appointed across the 30 District Headquarters Hospitals (DHHs). Each DDH will have 50 LTRMO positions each. The HRDs are Angul, Balangir, Balasore, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha, Koraput, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh , Nuapada, Puri, Rayagada, Sambalpur, Sonepur and Sundergarh.

Similarly, 20 LTRMOs will be recruited for Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH) while 15 LTRMOs will be recruited for 32 sub-divisional hospitals across the state. The 32 sub-divisional hospitals are Athamalik, Pallahara, Talcher, Nilgiri, Patnagarh, Titlagarh, Padampur, Athagarh, Banki, Hindol, Kamakhyanagar, Aska, Bhanjanagar, Baliguda, Anandapur, Champua, Pattamundai, Karanjia, Rairangpur, Udala, Chitrakonda, Mathili , Umerkote, Khariar, Gunupur, Kuchinda, Rairakhol, Birmaharajpur and Bonai.
