(WXYZ) – Multi-award winning brand, Norden Aquavit, has created a limited edition 2400 bottles (200-9 liter cases) of its flagship product, “Original Taffel-Style” Aquavit infused with fresh strawberries and tangy rhubarb directly from Michigan farms. . After 45 days of maceration, dried hibiscus blossoms and Damascus rose ‘steam distillation’ were added for a vibrant hue and delicate balance of flavors. Bottled at 38% alcohol by volume, distiller and co-founder Robyn Cleveland says, “The resulting alcohol is bursting with fresh, juicy strawberries on the nose, citrus and caraway spice while playing. the floral notes of the original for a whole new experience, but still quintessential “Norden Aquavit”.

The 2020 release sold out in just 6 days via the brand’s distributor, resulting in a double lot for 2021.
