ISA Corp., a manufacturer of nitrile and latex gloves, plans to open a production facility in the Geneva County Industrial Park in Hartford, Alabama. The multi-million dollar project is expected to create 80 jobs over the next two years.
The investment includes finishing the 45,000 square foot building, constructing an extension of the industrial access road and phasing in a hiring plan. Operations are scheduled for the third quarter of 2023. The plant will produce nitrile gloves, latex gloves and boot covers that supply a range of industrial sectors.
“We are delighted to welcome ISA Alabama Corp. in Geneva County, the Wiregrass region and the State of Alabama. This project is further evidence of the tremendous collaborative regional teamwork working with ISA Alabama at the state, regional and local levels,” said Greg Canfield, Secretary of the Alabama Department of Commerce. “ISA Alabama represents the best in latex product manufacturing and will be a great addition to Alabama’s diverse manufacturing base and be a top employer in Southeast Alabama.”
