FORT WORTH, Texas – Mattress maker Diamond Mattress has increased production capacity here by 50% with the recent integration of manufacturing systems at its 200,000 square foot factory.
The company now produces mattresses for the surrounding area and manufactures futons for dropshipping.
“With the streamlining of production lines and the transition to a smoother manufacturing and delivery process, we have boosted production and created 16 new delivery routes to serve our business partners in Texas and Oklahoma,” said Martin Romero , vice president of manufacturing.
The company said its production capacity is expected to increase next year with the addition of a compression machine in the first quarter of 2022.
In addition, the company added a 2,700 square foot showroom to showcase its products, and Diamond recently hosted an open house for customers.
Through two acquisitions of residential and contract bedding brands in the past two years, Diamond has invested more than $ 15 million in the business, including the relocation and integration of manufacturing to Fort Worth.
“Our progress has been tremendous, but by no means has it been achieved as the continued growth of our retail partnerships is guiding our positive trajectory,” said Shaun Pennington, President of Diamond.
