Skies are mostly clear and temperatures remain in the lower 70s to start your Friday morning. Most areas will remain dry today with plenty of sunshine as the weather warms up across the state. A few occasional thunderstorms will break out as the day heats up, starting as early as 1 p.m. and continuing through early evening. These showers could bring very localized rain of 1/2″ or more and some lightning strikes.

This weekend will bring heat and humidity! In addition to temperatures approaching 90° each day, a limited risk of storms remains daily during the day’s heating peak.
Our next weather pattern change will arrive on Monday with an approaching cold front! The arrival seems to be late afternoon and evening. This front will slow down on Tuesday, marking the coolest and probably wettest day of the week!
