At least six people were injured when a wall collapsed on a tractor at a construction site in Kafr Kanna in northern Israel on Tuesday morning.

Magen David Adom said his medics treated a 25-year-old man in serious condition who was taken by helicopter to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa. He was unconscious and on artificial respiration en route to hospital.

Another 25-year-old man was trapped under the rubble for nearly two hours before first responders managed to rescue him. He was listed in serious condition, but was communicating with medics when a helicopter arrived to take him to hospital.

A man in his 30s was slightly injured and three others were listed in mild condition.

They were all taken to the Haifa hospital.

The ambulance service and police said they were searching the area to determine there were no other people trapped after the wall gave way.

It was not immediately clear what caused the wall to collapse.

Police said the incident was under investigation.
